Joining the Cairns Art Society is an excellent way to immerse yourself in a vibrant community that celebrates creativity and local talent!

As a member, you’ll have access to exclusive opportunities to showcase your work in our two locations: the Artists @ Work Studio and Gallery shop on 51 Lake Street in Cairns City, and the Members Gallery Shop at DFO. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in our upcoming exhibitions, including the Annual Art Awards, held at Cairns Art Gallery and the Artists of the North, held at Tanks Art Centre.

We send out regular newsletters with our upcoming events, workshops and opportunities for Cairns Art Society members - as well as collaborate with other local art groups like the Visual Art Assocation of Far North Queensland to share all art related news from the region.

Artists will also have the chance to customise their unique artists profile in the Cairns Art Society directory. This lists all of our current members and gives you the opportunity to share examples of your work, give a brief description of you and what you do, and also link to your own business pages and social media accounts. With hundreds of visits to this Cairns Art Society website each month, this is a really useful tool for any artist looking to expand their customer base and share their artwork with the world.
