Welcome to the vibrant world of Cairns Art Society, nestled in the heart of Tropical North Queensland.

Our mission is to support local artists by offering access to learn new skills through workshops and exhibitions, and to showcase their works in our two gallery spaces.

The DFO members gallery is a "traditional" style gallery, open to all Cairns Art Society Members. Artists @ Work on Lake Street is a community of artists who collaborate in a working artisan gallery and also runs classes and workshops.

Cairns Art Society (CAS) currently run two exhibitions each year in conjunction with the Cairns Art Gallery and the Tanks Art Centre.
